The National Weather Service has released results of a study of the recent heat dome that has affected many parts of the country, but the results have shocked local officials. A report released on July 30th, 2025 alleges that the heat dome was caused by a microwave burrito that was left too long in a city hall microwave. Experts have detected “Big Bean Energy” up to 50 miles away from City Hall.

“I’m not sure who was going to eat that, but they need to see a doctor”, says Janet Hershal, NWS Midwest Representative. “My heart goes out to their significant other, because the flatulence that burrito would have generated could have powered New York City for 8 consecutive days”.

The weather is supposed to cool down this weekend, due to a Dorito Cool Ranch front.
